Getting Started

Welcome! This guide will help you set up AdTarget in about 10 minutes. By the end, you’ll be tracking every Telegram join from your Meta Ads.

Before You Start

You’ll need:

  • An AdTarget account — create one free 
  • A website where you run ads
  • A Telegram channel
  • About 10 minutes

Complete Setup

Create Your Site

Go to your AdTarget dashboard , click Add Site, enter your website URL, and click Create. You’ll see your new site with a unique ID.

Add the Tracking Code

Copy this code and paste it on your website, just before the </body> tag:

Connect Your Telegram Bot

Open Telegram and message @BotFather. Type /newbot and follow the steps. Copy the token you receive and paste it in your AdTarget dashboard.

Add your bot as an admin to your Telegram channel. In AdTarget, click Add Channel, pick your bot, enter your channel name, and click Connect.

Add Your Meta Pixel

Go to Settings → Meta Integration in AdTarget. Enter your Pixel ID, add your access token, and test the connection.

You’re All Set!

That’s it! Now when someone:

  1. Clicks your Meta Ad
  2. Visits your landing page
  3. Joins your Telegram

…AdTarget sends a conversion event to Meta automatically.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Check that the tracking code is on your landing page
  • Make sure your bot is an admin in the channel
  • Verify your Pixel ID is correct
